Recollections, a Maximum Ride fanficAfter a day of training with Natasha Romanova, my wings were sore.  I exited the SHIELD HQ and took off into the air.

Skyscrapers reached up farther than the eye could see.  Across the horizon shone the brilliant sunrays that cover the darkening sky with stunning shades of purple, pink orange, red, and a hint of yellow.  Tall high rises reaching for the sky gleamed and glowed from the sun's rays as if it was on fire.

I’m officially crazy now. I actually decided to cross over Avengers and Monster High…two fandoms you’d never hear in the same sentence.

Although, thinking about it, I think most of the characters would actually match up with one another really well. And yes, I bothered to make up a story to go with it. My scenario is that SHIELD gets wind of a school with some “special” students, so the Avengers are called in to investigate. As it turns out, the school is for the children of famous monsters, and the kids must hide who they really are, in fear of humans hurting or hunting them. So when the team learns of the kids’ plight for safety and acceptance, they decide to keep their secret and leave them alone. And of course, each Avenger bonds with a certain student.

Finally, I decided to doodle a bonus comic with Loki and Venus McFlytrap. I found it very interesting that both characters pretty much have the exact same powers, but while Loki used his brainwashing for evil, Venus uses her manipulation powers for good. (In her debut episode, she hypnotized most of her school into joining her recycling campaign.)

I just find it hilarious that with one wiff of her hypno plant spores, Venus could’ve saved the world in five minutes.
